What you wanted to know…

Hello Friends!

It is I… It’s me, I can not think of anything witty.

So we did it and I mean we. This tiny corner of cyber space got to 5000 followers. over 5000 pairs of eyes have glanced at something I have said and thought they might like to read more and that blows my mind! I honestly can not thank you enough, so thank you!

I asked prior to this for you to throw some questions my way and I would do a Q&A, so this is it. There were way more questions that I have imagined I would get and I am not just saying this, they were all great. Lots of inventive and creative questions were put my way and I am very much looking forward to answering them. Depending on how long the Q&A makes this blog, I may have to put them in two posts. So, without further ado, here is what you wanted to know:

The first question is from David
Q: How long have you had your blog?
A: I believe I made the blog in October last year, but I did not start posting until February.

Colin (Scottish Legend) asks
Q: What inspires you to write?
A: I have a very active imagination and vivid dreams, I have as long as I can remember. Often things just pop into my head and I feel compelled to write them down. It is something that I have always enjoyed doing.

Scarlet went for four question, so here goes!
Q1. What would you say has helped you the most with gaining a large following on WordPress?
A: I honestly do not know why so many people follow me, all I know is that I never expected this amount!
Q2. Do you feel more or less pressure to write consistently/daily as a result of your following?
A: The people who read and comment on my posts are always kind and understanding and I have never felt pressure from them. I am very grateful for that.
Q3. What hobbies do you enjoy other than writing?
A: I am an avid gamer. I enjoy any excuse to be immersed in some kind of adventure or in depth story. I also enjoy reading and every now and then I am inspired to do silly drawings.
Q4. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
A: Living inside my head so much. If I stay there too long it often gets me into trouble.

Simon‘s question is
Q: I would like to know what it is that drives you and how do you think you have got to 5000 followers?
A:Writing is the only thing I think I am decent at. I have always written in the shadows and I am sensitive to criticism, so bringing it to the public eye was a big thing for me. Fortunately the community have been fantastically supportive and it drives me to want to write more. As to why there are so many of you lovely people following me, I have no idea, but thank you!

A very ponder worthy question comes from Venusian Cenobite
Q: My question is your point of view on: Delusion Of Romance as portrayed in movies and stories, from poems to ancient tales. you know the happily lived after thing, but reality is far more realistic than that.
A: I am a huge sucker for romance, always wanting what the movies, books and even video games have portrayed and never getting it. It took me time to realise that a movie that is 1.5 hours long is never going to show what true romance can be, it just shows some grand gestures that draw you into that moment. I never used to consider after the happily ever after and I think that affected choices in the past which looking back now were not the best choices. Thankfully, I think with time and experience I have learnt to appreciate the here and now and that has made me so much happier. Romance does not have to be a huge gesture, if you look a little closer you will probably see way more in your life than what the movies portray.

Ancient Skies wants to know
Q: So where are you in the way of politics? Do you vote or do you think it’s not worth it?
A: I do not think I qualify to talk about politics at all. I did not vote the last time there was an opportunity to, because I was travelling on the actual day of voting. I have missed a few other opportunities too due to being out of the country. One thing I will say is that I do not think social media should be so immersed in politics. From what I have seen, it all becomes very childish and there are many lives who are affected by choices, it should not be taken lightly.

Matt has included a bonus question which is something I never thought I would get asked!
Q1:Who do you think would win in a fight between a T-rex with an uzi, and a polar bear with throwing stars.
A: I think the polar bear would win. I think before the T-rex get his claw on the trigger, the polar bear would have already taken him out with the stars.
Q2: Also, if you could give any one piece of advice to your younger self, what would it be?
A: To my younger self: It is never as bad as you think. You have time to think before you leap, so slow down and take your time. One day time will go by so fast you will not know where it went, so enjoy these years.

There we have it, part one of the Q&A. I will get through the next batch as quickly as possible, I just did not want to leave you with too much to read in one post.

Thank you so much to those who took the time to ask me questions, they were all tremendous!

Until next time, stay amazing!

-Sara

Trying to get a group together amidst other roles in any given week.
I still like a gothic element in a good story

      1. Oh I see. It was a very interesting question. Although with my past failures I’m not sure I’m qualified to answer on an advisory basis, I can only go off of experience. I think I have learnt and have gotten into a good place though, so I shan’t complain. 🙂

    1. I enjoy a lot of different games. Retro point and click is dear to my heart. I am currently replaying The Stick of Truth to prepare for the release of Fratured But Whole. Then I enjoy strategy games, RPG’s anything with adventure that you can get lost in, even puzzle games. I have come to enjoy the episodic type games that have become a thing in recent years, but my patients is not a fan of waiting for the next episode to be released. I love silly games like Tricky Towers and Overcooked and I always have time for a game of Worms. Fighting games are always fun in a social environment, I am a big fan of the Mortal Kombat series. I used to play stuff like COD, Halo and Gears, but not so much these days and I would probably be terrible at them now!

Sorry, I could talk about gaming all day if I had the chance!
